~The Balance of Flora~
I've never really spent even a brief moment thinking of the balance of flora in my gut or how important it is but I'm beginning to learn.
Yesterday morning Meredith threw up in the car after taking Josh to school and I really started to get concerned. Thank goodness Marc was still home because for some reason I just can't clean up barf...poor dh does it and I might add...doesn't complain a bit about it either.
We called her doctor, they wanted to admit her. We went to the hospital, got admitted and guess what...she didn't have any bowel movements or throw up for over 4 hours...maybe getting admitted was the cure!
At about 2:30 we asked them to release her since she was able to keep liquids down and they agreed.
We had a quiet evening last night. I cooked turkey/bacon wrapped filets, scalloped potatoes, carrots and watermelon. She ate potatoes, carrots and watermelon and kept everything down and has slept through the night!
We get test results back today but either way she's being treated for the C-Diff so hopefully we are ahead of the game.

Angie's Insanity
My Sanity-Do you have it?Really, I'm looking for it...if you find it, hang on to it for me ;)
Wife to my Very Best Friend & Mom to a **Teenage** son and a 4 year old Daughter.
11 years between the...ahem...darling...children...they both think they are only children.
Strong willed, independent, each one is **ALWAYS RIGHT** so the other is **ALWAYS WRONG** and so on...no wonder I'm looking for my mind half the time!
