I'm glad we've survived the past week!

Long story short, Meredith had fluid behind one of her ears that her regular doctor saw and once we got her on meds she started feeling much better. She also had a horrible yeast infection and we had been given the **wrong** cream for it so once we got that fixed she started getting better down there too.

We've terminated a relationship with one of her specialists that had been taking care of her for most of her life and will be going to someone else. It seems to me that they'd know what med to give for a yeast infection and they'd be able to properly diagnose her ear problem especially when he looked in her throat and said, "Yep, she's got green stuff in her throat and the right side of her nose but she doesn't really need meds yet."

Her doctor wants her re-tested for Cystic Fibrosis, she was tested about 3 years ago but they want to re-test again to make sure we aren't dealing with it in some form. I try my best not to think about it because at this time there's no cure for CF.

Josh also got a sinus infection...told me Thursday morning that he couldn't hear out of his left ear. Off to the doctor we go and sure enough, he had fluid behind his ear too.

I'm finding myself unable to focus on much right now. I notice this is a problem when Mer starts falling into another sick cycle. My focus moves to her and Josh and then only what needs to be done and everything else slides. Nothing extra gets done.

I'm doing my best to fight it this time around.
